Steps to applying for a residence permit

  1. Visit the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) to download the application form and checklist.
  2. Before going to the Joint Visa Application Centre (VAC), please visit their website and check the fees payable. Please note that in Residence/work permit cases to Norway, their are two fees to be paid: 1) the online fee to the Danish Embassy and 2) the service fee to the Joint Visa Application Centre.

Where to submit your application

The Royal Danish Embassy in Singapore has appointed VFS Global to receive applications on its behalf. Please make an appointment to submit your application. Walk-ins will not be accepted. Applicants are required to submit in person at:

Processing of application

Your application will be forwarded to UDI in Norway for processing. Information on processing time is found here. The Embassy will contact you once a decision is received from UDI.
