Would you like to brand Denmark in Singapore through social media, public diplomacy events and stakeholder management? This is a rare opportunity to join the ambitious, motivated and fun team at the Danish Embassy in Singapore.

We are looking for a great communicator, networker, speechwriter, event-maker and social media wiz to help us position Denmark, Danish companies and Danish interests in Singapore. You will be responsible for all Public Diplomacy initiatives, which includes events, PR and communications activities. You will have direct reference to the ambassador, and you will work closely with the other embassy teams. You will lead cross-embassy projects, but not be responsible for any personnel.

You will navigate in a wide network of external stakeholders across government, companies, academia and media, and work professionally and confidentially with important government-to-government work, such as drafting of background documents and speeches, planning of events, press coverage, and social media outreach. In peak periods, or in case of emergencies, you are ready to help in the consular section to make ends meet.

Strong analytical and event planning skills
You have an academic or journalistic background. You have an eye for clear messaging and diplomatic communication. Experience with social media, digital marketing, production of corporate videos would be an advantage. The job requires knowledge about Singapore and its markets and eco-systems for you to contribute to more of #DKinSG.
Please also indicate in your application, if you have any particular experience in high-level visits and G2G collaboration. Important personal qualities include an ability to work both independently and collaboratively. We value a positive attitude, resilience and passion.

The Danish Embassy in Singapore totals 14 staff dealing with bilateral, commercial and consular collaboration between Denmark and Singapore. Our services include public affairs and export promotion services to Danish companies, as well as consular help and passports to the Danish community and visas to foreign nationals who want to visit the Nordic countries.
Our work environment offers a high degree of independence, flexibility and responsibility in an informal, international setting. We work closely with colleagues at other Danish embassies across Southeast Asia on tasks and targets.
