Danish Constitution Day Celebration in Singapore on 5 June

28.05.2020  07:05

Celebrate the vibrant partnership between Singapore and Denmark and enjoy Danish culture and cuisine at home on 5 June 8.40pm SG-time @Facebook-live.

The Royal Danish Embassy in Singapore is pleased to invite you for a joint celebration on Denmark’s Constitution Day with the best of Denmark’s young pop stars and musical talents. Music and singing is by tradition the language many people resort in times of difficulties – it goes for Danes as well as every nationality around the globe. Live via Facebook, the Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs, Jeppe Kofod, presents Christopher, Isam B, Nicklas Sahl and Soleima on 5 June to spur mutual understanding and build cultural bridges with cherished partners and friends abroad.

In celebration of the vibrant partnership between Singapore and Denmark

Leading up to the concert, the Danish Ambassador to Singapore, Dorte Bech Vizard, will give a short speech on the vibrant partnership between Singapore and Denmark before inviting all Singaporean friends, partners and the fellow Danes in Singapore for a joint toast to commemorate the adoption of the Danish Constitution on 5 June in 1849. Tune in for the celebration on 5 June 8.40pm at the Embassy’s Facebook page here.

Celebrate with a special Constitution Day dinner
To make the celebration even more festive, we have partnered up with Mandarin Oriental to curate a special Danish menu for you and your families to enjoy on this evening only. You can find the menu and submit your order for pick-up or delivery here by 2 June 5pm.
