Student assistant - Invest in Danmark
Do you want to gain hands-on experience in international business development and help position Denmark as a leading destination for foreign investment? Here is an opportunity to spice up your studies and join an ambitious and dynamic team at Invest in Denmark, part of the Royal Danish Embassy in Singapore.
We are looking for a motivated and analytical student assistant to join our Asia team, working closely with a Market Director and colleagues across the region.
The position is part-time (15–20 hours weekly), offering a unique chance to work with foreign companies considering business activities in Denmark. The position is limited to 6 months from commencement of employment, with the possibility of extension.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Support outreach efforts towards international companies considering Denmark for investment.
- Conduct desk research and compile lists of relevant foreign companies and market opportunities.
- Prepare analyses, reports, and presentation material for outreach activities.
- Assist in organising and preparing meetings, webinars, and events.
- Support communication tasks, including contributions to social media and monitoring trends.
- Provide general ad-hoc support to the Invest in Denmark team in Asia.
Expected Competencies
- Be an undergraduate or postgraduate student in International Business, Economics, Political Science, Sales/Marketing, or a related field.
- Have strong analytical skills, curiosity, and creativity in problem-solving.
- Show initiative, independence, and a proactive, positive attitude.
- Possess excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Be well versed with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of the Singaporean and wider Asian business environment is an advantage.

Employment Conditions
- Part-time employment contract position 6 months from commencement of employment, with the possibility of extension, based on the relevant legally binding labour market rules of Singapore.
- Working hours are 15-20 hours per week
- Pro-rated annual leave
