To attract high-value investments in Singapore and stay competitive as a country, the Singaporean government has a slew of measures to push adoption of robotics in workplaces. While it is typical of advanced manufacturing of electronics and chemicals to adopt robotics, there are industries which are incorporating robotics to address challenges such as manpower constraints and dangerous work.

The Singaporean government funds eligible local SMEs up to 50 per cent for the purchase of robotics at workplaces, for pre-approved sector-specific robotics application. Danish suppliers with such pre-approved sector-specific robotics application will have great advantage in helping their Singaporean customers to procure Danish solutions with potential subsidies of 50 per cent by local government.
